Some versions call it “Install app”. Confirm and you're done.
4. Open it from the icon
It opens full screen, with no browser bar. From the outside it looks like any downloaded app.
What you get
Not a cut-down version
On Android you get the same features as the iPhone app: your watchlist, ratings and reviews — per season or per episode too — quizzes with challenges and leaderboards, spoiler-protected discussions and recommendations from friends.

There is only one account: whatever you save on your phone is on the web and on iPhone, in real time.

Somto on Android
Is there a Somto app on the Play Store?
Not yet: the Android app is in the works. In the meantime Somto installs from your browser in ten seconds and behaves like an app: its own icon, full screen, notifications included.
How is it different from the iPhone app?
The features are the same: watchlist, ratings, reviews, quizzes, discussions and history import. It is the same account, so whatever you save on Android is there on iPhone and on the web.
Does Somto work offline on Android?
Screens you have already visited stay readable offline, and the app updates itself once you are back online. Rating, saving titles and playing quizzes need a connection.
Do I get notifications on Android?
Yes. Once installed from the Home screen, Chrome on Android supports push notifications: we ask for permission on first use and you choose which ones to receive in Somto's settings.
Do I have to pay?
No. Somto is free, on Android as well as on iPhone and the web.
